Get ahead of your wisdom teeth.
  • Fully numbed — pressure, not pain
  • We accept most PPO plans
  • One clear total for all four

Comfortable removal

The area is numbed completely, and for surgical removals we walk you through comfort options at your consultation.

Recovery you can plan

Most people feel noticeably better within a few days. Schedule it around a weekend, school break or lighter week.

Cost in writing up front

We verify your PPO benefits and give you your cost in writing, including four-tooth cases.

Do they need to come out?

Do wisdom teeth always need to be removed?

Not automatically. If your wisdom teeth come in straight, have room and you can clean them well, they can often stay. An exam and X-ray show what’s going on below the surface.

If removal is likely, earlier is often simpler: in younger patients the roots aren’t fully formed and the bone is more flexible, which tends to mean an easier removal and faster recovery. Removing them is a routine tooth extraction focused on the back molars.

When we recommend removal

  • Impacted Stuck under gum or bone
  • Crowding Pushing other teeth out of line
  • Partly erupted Gum flap traps food, prone to infection
  • Painful or decayed Hard to clean that far back
Recovery

What recovery looks like

First 24 hours

Rest and let a clot form. Bite gently on gauze, use ice for swelling, and stick to cool, soft foods. Arrange a ride home.

Days 2 to 3

Swelling and soreness usually peak, then ease. Keep eating soft foods and keep the area clean.

The first week

Most people feel close to normal and are back to school or work within a few days. Sockets keep healing for a couple of weeks.

What to avoid

No straws, smoking or vigorous rinsing for several days. If pain gets worse around day three or four, call us — it can signal a dry socket.

Cost

How much does wisdom teeth removal cost?

Cost depends on how many teeth you’re having removed and how they’re positioned. A typical all-four case combines several of these, so we give you one clear total.

Most PPO plans cover a portion, especially when removal is medically necessary. For four-tooth cases we offer flexible payment through Cherry and CareCredit; see insurance and financing.

Per tooth (2026 fee schedule)

  • Fully erupted ~$250
  • Soft-tissue impaction ~$400
  • Partially bony ~$450
  • Fully bony ~$500
FAQ

Wisdom teeth questions

Do wisdom teeth always need to be removed?
No. If they come in straight, have room, and you can keep them clean, they can often stay. We recommend removal when they’re impacted, crowding other teeth, partly erupted or hard to clean.
Does wisdom teeth removal hurt?
The area is numbed completely, so during the procedure you feel pressure, not pain. Soreness and swelling for a few days afterward are normal and manageable.
How long is recovery?
Most people feel close to normal within a few days and are back to school or work quickly, while the sockets finish healing over a couple of weeks.
How much does wisdom teeth removal cost?
From around $250 for a simple removal to about $500 for a fully impacted tooth, depending on positioning (2026 fee schedule). We give you one clear total for all-four cases after verifying your PPO benefits.
Can I have all four removed at once?
Yes, many patients have all four removed in one visit, which means one recovery period instead of several. We’ll tell you at your consultation whether that’s right for you.
What can I eat afterward?
Start with cool, soft foods like yogurt, smoothies (no straws), applesauce and soup, then ease back to your normal diet as you heal.
