Straight answers first

The three things everyone asks first

Before you book anything, here’s the honest version of the questions we hear most.

“What’s this going to cost me?”

You get the full price in writing at your consultation, before you agree to anything. We check your PPO benefits first, and financing is available.

“Is it going to hurt?”

Most patients tell us it was easier than they expected. Your dentist keeps you comfortable and walks you through each step, so nothing is a surprise.

“Am I even a candidate?”

Most people with a missing or failing tooth are. If gum disease is present, we treat that first. A short exam tells us for sure, with no pressure to proceed.

What it’s really like

A missing tooth can feel like it says something about you. It doesn’t.

It happens to people of every age: a failed root canal, an old injury, plain genetics. What it changes is how you eat, smile and feel day to day. Hiding your smile in photos, chewing on one side, a partial that never quite feels like yours.

Replace the tooth and those daily workarounds fall away. Filling the gap sooner also helps keep your jawbone and neighboring teeth from shifting. The first step is smaller than the years of avoiding it.

After your implant

  • Blends right in No more angling away from the camera
  • Full chewing back Eat what you want, both sides
  • Stays put Fixed in place, no adhesives
  • Built to last Many last for decades
Why choose an implant

The closest thing to a tooth that was always there

You stop noticing it

It replaces the whole tooth, root and all, so it looks and works like a natural tooth. Long-time implant patients often forget it isn’t their original.

Protects your other teeth and jaw

It stands on its own without leaning on healthy neighboring teeth, and helps keep your jawbone from shrinking where the tooth is missing.

Built to last

With routine care, many implants last for decades. We coordinate the cleanings and checkups that help protect yours.

What to expect

What happens at your consultation

We listen, then look

Your dentist hears what’s bothering you, examines the area, and explains what an implant would involve for you.

We check the foundation

We assess your bone and, if it helps, arrange a 3D scan before recommending anything.

You get a clear plan and price

A straightforward treatment plan, your full cost in writing, and your PPO benefits checked, with financing available.

You decide when you’re ready

If you want to move forward, we schedule around your life. If you’d rather think it over, that’s completely fine.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does a dental implant cost?
Implant cost depends on how many teeth you are replacing, the type of crown, and whether you need extra steps such as a bone graft, a sinus lift or a 3D scan. Book a consultation and we’ll put your full price in writing, with your PPO benefits applied and financing options available.
Does insurance cover dental implants?
Many PPO plans cover part of implant treatment. We accept most PPO plans and verify your benefits for you, so you know what’s covered before you decide. Medicare and most state plans generally don’t cover implants; we’ll always tell you your real out-of-pocket cost up front.
Does getting an implant hurt?
Most patients are surprised how manageable it is. Your dentist keeps you comfortable throughout and explains each step. Any soreness afterward is usually mild and short-lived.
How does a dental implant actually work?
A small post takes the place of your tooth’s root and bonds with your jawbone over a few months. Once it’s stable, your dentist attaches a custom crown made to match your other teeth, so it looks and works like the tooth you lost.
Implant, bridge, or denture: what’s the difference?
A bridge uses the teeth on either side for support, and a denture sits on top of the gum. An implant stands on its own, replaces the root, and doesn’t rely on your other teeth, which is why it tends to feel the most natural and last the longest.
What if I don’t have enough bone?
Many people still qualify. If more support is needed, bone grafting is an option. We measure your bone, with a 3D scan if it helps, before recommending anything.
What’s healing like, and when can I eat normally?
You’ll eat soft foods for a short stretch right after placement, then ease back to normal as you heal. Your dentist gives you simple, specific guidance for your situation.
How long will my implant last?
With routine care, many implants last for decades. Regular cleanings, covered by most plans, help protect yours.
What makes an implant fail, and how do you help avoid it?
The main thing is keeping the gum and bone around the implant healthy. We lower the risk by checking your bone first (grafting if needed), placing the implant carefully, keeping up regular cleanings, and recommending a night guard if you grind your teeth.
Are implants safe? Can I still get an MRI?
Implants are a well-established treatment made from materials that are safe in the body, and yes, you can have an MRI with a dental implant. Just mention it to your imaging team.
